DCYC Case Study
DCYC Case Study
Donnycarney Youth & Community Centre required a bright & playful brand & website to appeal to their target market. Essential information such as hiring rooms & booking parties also needed to be front & foremost when users land on their site.
With this in mind our approach was to create a strong community minded brand using strong primary colours. This was used as a basis in creating their website, with tons of colour & information easily accessible.
What We Did
01
> Brand
DCYC is a community based project & as such needed to appeal directly to the same community who access the centre. Our use of strong primary colours together with a strong symbol manage to do just that.
We achieved our brief to create a brand that would sit well on their website but also work equally as well offline for print collateral & signage.

02
> Responsive Website Design
The playful colour scheme was continued throughout the website with strong colours reflecting the brand. Information was presented in a manner as to not overload the pages; with dropdowns used effectively to view further information.
Their events & party offering were also presented in tabbed format in order to keep scrolling to a minimum. We find this an effective means of displaying heavy content without cluttering pages.
