The Fat Angel Case Study

The Fat Angel Case Study

The Fat Angel is a cafe/wine bar located in the heart of Waterford. The guys came to us looking for a way to create an online store that allows customers to pick a selection of wines and hampers.

We went ahead a created a clean looking website to display all wines they have on offer. This allows customers to click and collect from the store at a time that’s convenient to them.

01

> Responsive Website Design

We created a fully mobile responsive website design that looks just as good no matter what device their customers view it on. The Fat Angel contains just 4 pages which are plenty for an online store like this.

Incorporating a responsive design is a vital element of any modern website, as most users now access the web through mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad, etc… It also affects how well it ranks in SEO search results.

02

> eCommerce

The Fat Angel required an online platform to allow local people the ability to order their wines and have collected from the store at a time that suits them. We provided an eCommerce solution integrating stripe as the payment gateway to securely receive payments online.

A simple to use admin area allows them to review their orders, making the process of fulfilment hassle-free.

03

> Photography

Every image on the site was captured by us as we wanted to show the customer just how great the Fat Angel’s wine hampers looked before they even had a chance to taste them.

We captured all images within its natural light with only a tripod and camera. All images were then edited to enhance the appearance.

04

> Click and Collect

They wanted to enable a click and collect service for customers to come in and collect their item. We set up a couple of different options in relation to the payment. They could either pay in-store or pay online.

Click and collect is all about customers making a purchase via our online store and choosing to collect that purchase at a pre-chosen time and location that suits them, rather than have it delivered to their home.
