Davy macs is a unique bar with a large variety of gins & themed parties that required a suitable unique approach to promote them online. We were up to the challenge & really enjoyed the design process in order to represent their character in web format.
We got our inspiration from one of their services; a mad hatter themed party held monthly on their premises. We devised a unique approach to displaying their drinks using playing cards to keep with their theme.

> Responsive Web Design

We really enjoyed the process of creating a strong online presence to represent Davy Macs. Our use of strong “old skool” fonts together with old newspaper articles give the website an old worldly look & feel.

Our use of playing cards to display their wide variety of gins provide a unique approach to displaying further information in relation to drinks such as prices.

> Booking System

We were required to create a booking system to allow customers to book parties at Davy Macs monthly themed parties. The resulting booking system offers a simple means to do this through their website.

The manager receive’s a notification that a booking has been requested at which time he can simply send an automated invoice through email from the admin panel.

> Photography

We teamed up with Colm from Digicol Photography to create an image library that could be used throughout Davy Mac’s website. This provides a real aspect to the website & is our preferred method rather than using sterile stock imagery.

Colm managed to capture the interior perfectly on the day of the shoot. The final images add depth to the website resulting in a professional look & feel.

Such a fantastic team to work with. No request we had was too big for them. Our new website is beyond what we could have ever expected. So happy that we chose Media Helm to create our new website.
