Aphex Waterford Case Study

Aphex is made up of highly motivated & skilled individuals who required a brand & website to represent them. The brand had to represent the Engineering/ Pharmaceutical space, which is where they primarily sit. When it came to the website we wanted to create something that communicated professionalism while also giving the guys a human face.

We were also tasked with devising a means to increase consumer engagement & conversion rates on their website. We achieved this through the creation of a series of promotional videos that showcase the professional services provided by Apex.



> Brand

Our first task whenever creating a new identity is to start with the logo, considering such things as colour scheme, font types etc… The brief was to create a fresh, modern identity inline with their industry; Engineering & Pharmaceuticals.

The final logo was chosen after much deliberation as it symbolises their industry with the integration of a DNA strand graphic, which compliments the Aphex text. The colour scheme was also chosen as it represents the two sides of their business; Engineering & Pharmaceuticals.


> Print

Since completing Aphex’s new brand & website, we have continued to work closely with the guys to create a multitude of print collateral. These included a business plan for a software concept they were pitching for access to funding along with brochures, employee C.V’s and everything in-between.

We have always 100% over delivered on everything we have completed for Aphex, which has ensured our long term business relationship will grow into the future as both businesses continue to grow.


> Responsive Website Design

The job of creating a website design for the guys at Aphex was made all the more easy with the creation of such a strong identity. This enabled us to concentrate on the functionality of the website, creating a jobs portal so they could easily add new jobs listed by employers.

We also created a simple case studies system to allow them to showcase their strengths. The content was kept to a minimum with strong headline messages used to convey their core message without the need for tons of copy.


> Video

One important aspect of Aphex’s business is the ability to demonstrate the different services they provide. What better way to communicate this in a simple manner than through the use of video. Together we devised a series of video promo’s that would showcase each service while showing the professional manner in which Aphex operate.

After months of planning, amazing brainstorming & collaboration the resulting promo’s have been widely received & viewed through their social media channels to a broad audience that has won them continued business.
