Revolution Waterford

Objective

The rise in popularity of craft beer has made it an increasing competitive market & revolution wanted to stand out. With their unique take on craft beer, fine whiskeys & spirits together with fantastic food, we had the opportunity to work with them to build their brand & website.

An easy to use booking system was also required to allow their client base to easily book one of the many function rooms available. What resulted was one of the most consistent jobs we have provided & one we’re very proud of.

> Brand

Revolution is going through a growth period, requiring a new brand & website to complement their brand. The logo design was based on an old western saloon type face, which conveyed the old skool interior fittings currently in place at the establishment.

Custom fonts were created with a key symbol added to the ‘O’s’ to convey an olden day logo with subtle hints to a generation gone by. Printed menu’s were also supplied to compliment their new identity.

> Responsive Website Design

Revolution already had a content management system (CMS) in place but it wasn’t simple enough to use & didn’t allow them to update everything they required on a day-to-day basis. We built them a new website on WordPress so they could do it all themselves through it’s easy to use admin panel.

A very expansive drinks menu was also created to showcase the wide variety of craft beer, whiskeys & spirits on offer. This has been used as a virtual drinks menu that is now proudly situated on the bar at various locations to allow customers to browse their menu on iPads.

> Booking System

The booking system incorporated into the revolution website is a simple to use eCommerce solution allowing users to book a function. Users can choose from a variety of options such as entertainment & food which is all added to their booking.

The manager receive’s a notification that a booking has been requested at which time he can simply send an automated invoice through email from the admin panel. The user is then redirected to a payment page with Stripe integrated as the payment gateway of choice where they can finalise their booking & security pay in a simple format.

We approached robin in media helm to produce a state of the art site for revolution craft bar & oskars bar & restaurant – his approach was clear and decisive – the result was a great web site showcasing out great range of craft beer and whiskeys as well as a booking engine for parties. A great company with customer service at its heart.
